Professional Development Hours

CII issues Professional Development Hour (PDH) credits in accordance with the CII PDH Guidelines.

Ways to Earn PDH Credits
CII issues PDH credits for:
  • Event attendance
  • Participation on Research Teams, Product Review Board and Restructuring, Integration, and Tagging Teams
  • Successful completion of Online Education courses
Acceptance of PDH Credits
Course participants may be able to use PDH credits to satisfy continuing education requirements. Please check with your regulatory agency or association for acceptance of the CII-assigned PDH values.

PDH Value
The PDH value CII awards is based on content and exposure time to the presented material.

One PDH credit is awarded for each Online Education course completed by successfully passing the final exam and fulfilling the one-hour study time requirements. Upon successful course completion, each participant is able to download a printable certificate.

If you have attended an event for which PDH credits were granted and you did not sign the PDH log at the event, please download the PDH Request Form and return it to CII for review.
