Thais Alves

Thais Alves was one of three principal investigators on Research Team 362, Challenges and Opportunities to Promote Collaborative Scheduling. The team was challenged to consider methods of scheduling beyond the industry’s standard, critical path method (CPM). Other industries had begun using newer, more collaborative methods, and RT-362 considered how these other methods might be used as a replacement for the CPM method.

Probably a dozen member volunteers on RT-362 enthusiastically nominated Dr. Alves for this award. Previously, she was an integral part of RT-308, Achieving Zero Rework through Effective Supplier Quality Practices.

CII is pleased to recognize Dr. Thais Alves as an Outstanding Academic.
