CII Outstanding Instructor

The CII Outstanding Instructor Award recognizes an exceptionally effective instructor whose contributions, talent, and efforts have been recognized for outstanding performance in learning activities involving CII published research topics during the previous calendar year.

Eligibility

Industry and academic individuals are eligible for consideration.
Self-nominations are not acceptable.

Award Selection Criteria

  • The nominee is an exceptionally effective instructor whose contributions, talent, and efforts have been recognized for outstanding performance by the participants in learning activities involving CII published research during the previous calendar year.
  • Contributions the nominee has made to the development and deployment of CII initiatives, programs and services.
  • Aspects of the nominee’s instruction considered to be innovative, unique, particularly effective, or otherwise meriting special consideration.

Selection Procedure

The panel of judges will be composed of the members of the CII Professional Development Committee. The CII Associate Director of Professional Development will serve as the Chair of the panel.

There is no requirement to make awards each year. This award will only be presented when there are one or more viable candidates. The panel may request an interview with the nominee during the selection process. Additional references may also be requested by the panel.
