Power, Utilities, and Infrastructure


The PUI sector includes power (generation and transmission), utilities (electric, gas, water, wastewater, steam, recycling, waste processing, and telecommunications), and infrastructure (rail and subway, ports and terminals, airports, roads, bridges, and tunnels). Oil and gas transmission pipelines are included in the UMM sector.


Current R&D Activity

What is the current best practice for decision-making methodologies to proactively identify, evaluate, and respond to the impact of regulations throughout the different project life cycle phases?

This research study seeks to assess and define existing methodologies used within the industry to proactively identify, anticipate, and respond to preexisting and ever-evolving regulatory requirements that are imposed on utilities.
