The person in the Owner organization with the responsibility and authority to 1) establish the Project Business Objectives and control against them throughout the project life, 2) approve the project for proceeding to the next phase, and 3) approve the project for requesting Corporate funding. The Project Business Sponsor normally leads the execution of the Feasibility Phase with the support of others in the Owner organization (with potential contractor support).
