CII Best Practices Bootcamp
A New Professional Development Opportunity You Don’t Want to Miss:
CII partnered with UT’s Texas Engineering Executive Education (TxEEE) office to develop a new professional development course for early-career professionals and their busy schedules.This intensive three-day in-person course will introduce you to CII and our seventeen Best Practices through a good balance of lectures and learning activities.

During the class, you will have a chance to get to know your fellow participants, who are also new to CII, since networking in this industry is invaluable.
Who Should Attend
Designed for early-career professionals (0-5 years), but open to anyone who wants to learn more about CII Best Practices.Enrollment is limited to 30 students to ensure the highest caliber of interaction among the participants.

The hour-long virtual primer session will provide you with a foundational understanding of CII, review the topics we'll cover in the classroom, and review the pre-read assignments, which are crucial for your preparation and active participation in the Bootcamp.
At the hour-long virtual follow-up session, we will discuss where you plan to implement a CII Best Practice on the job, how you can stay connected to CII through our Communities for Business Advancement (CBAs), and Q&A.

The fee for a single registration from a CII member organization is $4,000.The fee for a single registration from a non-member organization is $6,000.
The registration fee includes tuition, course materials, and planned meals.

A Networking Event will be held on Monday. Meals, including breakfast, lunch, and snack breaks, will be provided on Tuesday and Wednesday. Dinners on Tuesday and Wednesday will be at your discretion.Attire

Originally hired to manage CII publications in 2009, Erika quickly transitioned to supporting various CII initiatives and committees over the years. Most recently, she served as the Project Manager for Deployment.
Before joining CII, Erika was the Director of Volunteer Services with Special Olympics Texas, managing its state-wide volunteer program requiring thousands of short-term and long-term volunteers each year.
Erika brings this same passion to CII volunteers, helping them get the most out of CII’s research through our professional development and implementation programs.
She holds a Master’s in Education from Texas State University at San Marcos.
