Data Warehouse
Submit a Project for Benchmarking
Hosted at the Texas Advanced Computing Center (TACC), the CII Data Warehouse offers both project and portfolio comparisons and other advanced analytics made possible by TACC’s supercomputing resources.
Find out how well your project performs on cost, schedule, safety, efficiency, and engineering and construction productivity. Submit your project data to CII’s Data Warehouse, a first-of-its-kind benchmarking and research platform.
Project data is easy to submit, yet highly validated and curated. You can be confident that your data is secure and will never be sold. Draw on decades of performance assessments and best practices to make real-time, strategic decisions that impact your bottom line and help you continuously improve.

The Data Analytics Community for Business Advancement promotes the use of the Data Warehouse, communicating to the broader CII community about data collection campaigns and other initiatives. It serves as a resource for those who are seeking training and access to the system. It provides support and assistance to those who seek to integrate with the DW via the automated data collection system. It also provides a space for participants to collaborate and share stories of challenges and success.

Benchmarking Labs
The Data Warehouse is currently comprised of three Benchmarking Labs. Each lab is comprised of a uniquely curated set of projects and metrics that are most applicable to that benchmarking community
The CII Benchmarking Lab is available to all CII members and includes benchmarks for a set of core project controls metrics and CII Best Practices assessment.
TheFederal Facilities Benchmarking Lab helps organizations to improve the scope definition, estimating, predictability and cost efficiency of capital facilities in the U.S. government portfolio and beyond. This lab is available only to public agencies that submit data to the Data Warehouse.
Built with the generous support of its founding members over the course of a three-year study called the Federal Facilities Data Analytics Research and Applications Program (FF‐DARAP), with a mission to create an advanced data warehouse and project analytics platform for capital facilities. The resulting Federal Facilities Lab continues to thrive and provide value to this day.

CII's Industry Benchmarking Program provides capital facilities project benchmarking for organizations in an array of industries, including manufacturing, life sciences, healhcare, and power. It features absolute cost, schedule, and dimension metrics that provide valuable insights into project performance to support decision-making and management techniques.
