The Implementation Process Action Tool
Continuous improvement is the essential component of long-term success; however, opportunities for improvement are not always successfully implemented. IS-31 addressed the gap between development of a vision for organizational improvement and the successful implementation of that vision.
This research effort – based on literature reviews, surveys, interviews, and case studies – identified elements of organization, leadership, and communication that impact an organization’s ability to successfully implement new initiatives. The results of this research provide knowledge and tools which comprise a formal process for evaluating organizational readiness for implementation of a new initiative and transitioning from vision to successful implementation.
- Quantitative assessment of organizational readiness for implementation
- Qualitative indicator of potential weaknesses for implementation
- Recommendations for improving probability of implementation success
